The Haapa shirt is made of cotton poplin in the classic Kaivo pattern, origin from when the designer Maija Isola dropped a bucket in well, and seeing the water ripple into soft circles on the water surface. The shirt has a straight cut and a short button list in the front. The sleeves are dropped at the shoulders and they feature pleats and binding at the sleeve ends as well as slits and button closures. The hem has a round cut with slits at the sides and triangular side panels.
